In the silence of the forest, time expands.
You listen to the chirping of the birds, hear the leaves swaying in the wind at the tops of the towering maples and feel the warmth of the sun. Morning can seemingly last forever.
Surrounded by the power of nature, healing begins.
Healing in the Highlands
Dimensions facilitates wellness & healing amongst the wildness of the Haliburton Highlands

"Take a deep breath in and hold it. Release it out slowly and feel yourself relaxing."
Inside the Ceremony Dome at Dimensions, an all-inclusive, adults-only wellness and healing retreat in the Haliburton Highlands, a small group is participating in a Sound Bath.
The ancient practice uses sound to tap into the body's response to frequencies in order to soothe anxiety and release tensions.
"We are after the mind, the body, the spirit, the emotions, all being aligned," says instructor Marcia Mandel. "And sometimes they are in harmonies that aren't nourishing and we want to make those harmonies nourishing because that's when we are at our best — when we feel nourished."
Nourishment is at the heart of the experience at Dimensions. From the nutrient-dense meals served around the communal wooden dining table to the treatments offered, the focus is on achieving a deeper level of wellness, one that nourishes all parts of the human experience.

Set on 40 forested acres on the shores of Maple Lake near Haliburton, Dimensions consists of 17 serene cabins, some facing the lake and others facing the forest, the Ceremony Dome where group sessions take place, and a lodge with private treatment rooms, kitchens, a beautiful lounge and dining space.
Nature takes centre stage at Dimensions. Situated along the Canadian Shield, where the boreal forest and the Great Lakes–St. Lawrence region converge, the property boasts a rich diversity of deciduous and coniferous trees, including maple, oak, birch, poplar, cedar, pine, and spruce.
This diverse forest canopy provides a magnificent backdrop for guests. In addition to the lush woodlands, the property includes a shallow black spruce bog and approximately 600 feet of shoreline overlooking Maple Lake. A natural beach gently leads into deeper waters, offering opportunities for swimming, canoeing, and kayaking during the warmer months. In winter, the frozen lake becomes a venue for supervised cold plunges, snowshoe hikes, and cross-country skiing, allowing guests to engage with the landscape year-round.

Every stay at the resort includes a pre-arrival consult with the wellness team, who will then prepare an individualized itinerary for you that includes sessions designed for your particular needs.
Private treatment rooms provide space for a variety of therapies, including massage (RMT, Thai or Swedish), Reiki and lymphatic drainage.
In addition, all two-night stays include one Floatation therapy session or a BioSound therapy table session, which uses frequencies and vibration to balance and harmonize the body by placing the nervous system in a state of rest.

The Floatation tank uses high-saline warm water to allow the body to float, with the option to close the tank for full sensory deprivation.
"The feeling of your body being weightless helps it go into a state of rest within your nervous system," says Kayla Rowden, the Guest and Clinical Services Specialist. "Your blood flow improves, your circulation improves, it can lower blood pressure and help your muscles relax."
The guest cabins are designed for a maximum of two people and feel like a safe cocoon — plush robes, deep soaker tubs, unending nature views and luxurious bedding make for a perfect home base. A bench along the wall-sized window and a private deck allow for quiet contemplation.
Meals cater to all dietary restrictions and are served in the communal dining room. The menu is designed by Chef Jordan Wagman, the culinary consultant, and executed to perfection by Chef de Cuisine Naz Arabani.
The focus is on gut health nutrition and an anti-inflammatory diet, one that helped Chef Jordan heal from an autoimmune disease that plagued him for decades until he discovered lasting relief through food.
"For the last ten years, I've been travelling the world teaching people how to become healthier eating a cleaner diet," he says.
Stays include all meals and snacks, as well as non-alcoholic beverages such as infused teas, juices, coffees and teas.
Chef Jordan also offers cooking classes, which showcase his clean-diet philosophy presented in easy-to-do-at-home techniques.
